Yohaan’s wedding

An exciting part of our job is learning new customs and rituals and how the idea of dress is deeply informed by the stories we carry as a people. Whether it is the nuances of a traditional Parsi Dagli or the details on a Marwari Sewra and Safa, we are always learning.

Working with Yohaan, was an exercise in simplicity. His love for clean lines and fabrics that breathe, really allowed us to create ensembles that expresses his personal style while honouring the family's values.

It's a rewarding experience when we get to design the entire wedding wardrobe for someone. It offers us the opportunity to create something that resonates with them for their special day and can be re-worn many times as a capsule wardrobe for occasions to follow. We also got to work on pieces for his parents using heirloom embroideries from their ancestors
